I like Joel. At first, I am happy to admit I had serious questions about him due to a number of suspect (well actually poor) performances.

I didn't think he was a reliable substitute let along challenge for the starting position. Yet he came out proved me and many others wrong.

He showed one more that one occasion a number of assured performances with good saves, distribution and a more commanding mentality.

Joel is clearly a confident player and that confidence grew, so I was then flabbergasted that he was dropped for Howard. What does that show?

He must be sat there watching all the errors that we see, thinking what difference he could do yet can't get a game in the league.

I hope he thrives in the league and forces Martinez's hand in to making the right decision.
 
He's lost it, time has caught up with him and like I said in another thread, he doesn't pick himself.

I find it extremely distasteful this trend of becoming poisonous and dishing out personal insults to players who are coming to the end of their career and aren't as good as they used to be.

Howard isn't the only one and some of you are disgusting in the things you say, i've even read give him a lethal injection, I mean come on, absolutely no need.

The mans ego is absolutely enormous. If he tones it down fans will give him less personal stick. The fact he still thinks the sun shines out his arse despite being the worst keeper in the League is the reason fans like myself absolutely despise the divvy.

Agreed he shouldn't get involved with the fans, it's probably his pride. Still some of the stuff said is disgusting and embarrassing.

He wouldn't get this much vitriol if he wasn't such an arrogant bellend. He only has himself to blame.

It is mate but it's down to the manager to stop this from happening he's been left hung out to dry.Martinez only has to drop him you never no it might do him the world of good.
