I honestly just get annoyed by the whole scapegoat obsession on this forum towards individual players. I've posted many similar things in threads where people are fuming about Barry and naismith and I'm not english or Scottish. Its hardly ever one player solely responsible for a loss/goals. Tim and the back lines marking were both crap today. Tim was too indecisive and got himself caught in no mans land, no doubt about it. They were also getting free headers all game long as Mori and Kone seem like are only ball winners in the air. It's just easier for people to scapegoat individuals and say "if only we weren't stuck with xxx xxxx we'd be in CL" than admit to themselves there's team wide issues

But you must agree we need a better keeper generally speaking?

Robles might turn out to be rubbish like but he's 11 years younger than Howard. At least mistakes are a learning experience and not a case of painful deja vu.

Give Joel a chance. He might be decent, he might improve. He surely can't do any worse.

Thing is a keeper will make mistakes when he doesnt get a settled run in the team, Robles got that for a month last season and looked great. Howard always plays and always costs us goals/point.

He's clearly not, though. Ruddy gave up six goals without a single save to Newcastle (Newcastle!) last week. Brad Guzan is so bad that he lost his place in the national team to Howard. Maarten Stekelenburg and Artur Boruc both pick the ball out of the net as often as they save it. There's just no reason other than irrational hatred to pretend he's worse than they are.

Both stats and the eyes of all non american {and dougie} evertonians back up the fact hes a useless sack of crap who costs us time and time again. Absolute shabite

I want a new keeper much more than i want Yarmolenko or somebody else. I want us to win 2-0, not lose 4-5.

I even believe that we could challenge for a top 4 spot this season if we could get ourselves somebody better than Howard in january.
