Incorrect stats aside, he's never had a long run in the team. Keepers especially need a few games on the bounce to get up to speed develop an understanding with their CBs. Robles' only few games in a row for the club went very well and he kept 3 clean sheets on the spin. He improved game by game too. So why is that disregarded?

He had an eight match in a row run, and didn't look any good until the final match of those eight. Waiting eight matches until you actually play well isn't acceptable.

Sure he could. We've conceded 13 goals in ten matches with Howard in goal. It's easy to be worse than that. Look at Ruddy and Guzan.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. "Pretty much every shot on target"? Howard has more saves than anyone except Cech and Butland this season. You are actually blocking out all of the saves he makes because you have such an irrational hatred of him.
