Mate at his best him and vidic where the best CB pairing in the world at the time. saying players caved because they where man u is ridiculous.

but cahill hmmmm... I mean quality player for us know denying that and everton obviously this club ment a grate deal to him but I always thourght he was a [Poor language removed] tbh met him a few times and he was a [Poor language removed] at everyone.

and as far as him being a manager ffs that's just bloody stupid. has he even taken his badges yet? that's just proper cookoo land talk.

I met him twice (once with my young lad and once when I took an Aussie mate to a Goodison derby) and he was a really nice guy. Was the last player to leave after the match each time, signed autographs and posed for photos in the rain for everyone who asked - left his missus and kids in his car for ages till he was done. I got the impression that (unlike a lot of modern footballers) he was aware of his good fortune and responsibilities.

I'd say he's a legend. And he joins a list of other Everton legends who were unlucky not to win silverware - Mick Lyons being the most obvious example.

@bluemantis I didnt mean he was literally on his way to being manager as i dont know his badges situation, the only badge related tim cahill thing i can say is he wore our badge with pride, loyalty and the heart of a warrior, like someone stated, we needed fearless and Tim was there.
Having Duncan and Tim would be a dream i never said it was nailed on. So sit back, relax and drink a chang beer or two.........

Well That is very nice of him but was still not a very nice man when I met him on several occasions back stage at various functions we both were at.

We are all entitled to our opinions of someone and I would never castigate someone for there opinions of another person if they have actually met the person to fourm a opinion.

Some of the reactions to what I have said is a very mentally unhealth behaviour to adopt with regards to someone who dosent know you exist.
