Does he owe us anything really, what did we get him for 2.5mill.

TBH his performances improved massively in the back end of the season as well, he was as gash as anyone else for part of the season.

Maybe im in denial but im not writing him of.

I BELIEVE TIM!

Me too, I really reckon he's still got a bit more in him. I'm not taking these rose tinted glasses off either.

the way he played last season he's not worth his wages, we can't afford to waste money that much money so id say sell him if the money is right and we can get a replacement in, if not give him till january and see if he improves

My fav player of all time, but if an opportunity arises he can't knock it back. Tim, you have been amazing for everton and will be a legend to every everton fan but its time to step aside and usher in the young kids and can you choose to either be an impact sub or earn millions per year in a mediocre comp in the middle east thus improving your chances at going to the next world cup with Australia.

"Of course, it is a compliment when you get offers," he said. "But I've never invited offers because of my massive respect for Everton. The gaffer (David Moyes) and the chairman have been wonderful to me. Look, as a player you try and pick what is best for you and your family. At the moment I am more than happy."

So the plan is to make him unhappy then?

The future of Everton midfielder Tim Cahill remains up in the air, with clubs in Saudi Arabia and China thought to be the latest to target the Australia international.
Reports suggest Al Hilal have made a multi-million pound offer to lure the midfielder to the Middle East, while Al Nasr are another Saudi side to have previously been linked.
It is understood Chinese outfit Guizho Renhe have also made an official approach to the 32-year-old.
Last week Cahill reportedly turned down turned down a 16million dollar (£10.3million) three-year deal from an unnamed club in Saudi Arabia.
[h=4]Interest[/h]The midfielder, who played a starring role in Australia's 1-1 draw in their World Cup qualifier against group leaders Japan on Monday, has made no secret of his desire to one day play in the Middle East.
He has two years remaining on his contract at Goodison Park and is happy at the club he joined in 2004 but it is believed he would consider a move overseas.

Cahill is very much a family man, would he really move his family abroad - different schools/languages etc?

For me everything depends on if he want's to carry on playing for AUS. If he does it will be best for all involved if he moves a bit closer to home.

Personally, i think Cahill will stay at Everton, and if he does ever leave Everton it will be to Australia

If somebody offered us £3m+ then we would be absolutely ****ing mental not to take it.

Still love you Tim, but even he must realise that money would do more good for the team than he will now.

Yeah. I'm not saying this to have a go at Tim or anything, but if he does love the club as much as it seems then surely he'd do the best thing for us, and that is be willing to make sure that we recieve a decent payment for him if the offer comes along and he's happy with it.

In our position we cannot afford to be sentimental and if he goes i'm sure it would be with the full blessing of pretty much everyone considering what he has done for the club.

Well as much as I agree with what your saying, its not like he would be selfish if he wont move to Suadi Arabia just so Everton can get a payday.

Yeah of course, i didn't mean it like that really, just that i'd like to think that maybe he'd consider taking an offer now to help us out even if its his second choice behind winding down his contract and going on a free in 2 years.

Like i said i'm mnot criticising him for what ever decision he might make, just that if any player would do something like that you'd think it would be Tim.
