Well im fairly sure now is the time, as far as hes concerned.

Hes certainly not getting any younger and his "stock" decreases every Month at his age.

Hes on a fairly decent wage, his family are settled and he defo owes Everton nothing.

He was bought for complete peanuts and played his heart out for the last 8 Years, im not claiming hes played for free, hes certainly been paid very well.

What ever decision he makes is fine with me, if he stays, I for 1 will be happy, I doubt hes 1st choice and hopefully MOIST is looking for options in "his postion", but as I say if he stays and plays now and again, super.

If he decides he wants 1 big last payday and he wants a free transfer, good for him.

Wouldn't sell him for £3m like is being banded about here, we'd get that for Anichebe ffs. He'll be a cracking impact sub next season, and they can be as important as players in the starting 11 (see Solskjaer)

OK the simple truth appears to be he's not pushing for a move. Neither, it would seem are Everton. If he's happy & the club's happy then he'll stay. If on the other hand he's as gash in the first half of next season as he was at the start of the last then with more offers on the table from the countries mentioned already and we/he would have to be seriously interested. So I believe the logical conclusion is that he is happy where he is, won't dismiss the interest out of hand (he'd be foolish to alienate a potential employee and he is nobody's fool) & will play next season (at least for the first half of it) as an Everton player.

Given his international profile as a major star/attraction these offers are bound to happen.

Anichebe scored twice as many goals in about a tenth of the play time mate. Cahill is past it, and being a good impact sub in no way justifies his £60k a week wage packet.

3mil for a past it player sounds like good business to me.....

Or shall we keep a 50k a week player as a sub....

YOU MONSTER!

Sadly it's true, I still love you though Tim!

Cahill was on a media rampage last night. Let rip at the Australian media for "bagging" him out all the time and accusing him of being "old" and "past-it".

Second time he has done this after a game. I don't think he will ever come back to Australia and probably feels he has a lot to prove. So why go to the Middle East and China when he believes he still has a lot to offer?

He will play at least one more year at Everton, and if he wants to he deserves it after the years of service to the club. Will be released from his final year of his contract next summer.
