Not this drasticly if it comes of, i think they may have had an intrest in Baines!

I forgot about Baines, although Newcaslte did deny it. Coming out with [Poor language removed] like "we where always after Jose Enrique". I'd love to get one over on them.

On Tiago, does anyone think this could be a fallback on Moutinho? Like Gravesen and Fernandes last season. I hope we get both, if we also get Love and possibly Fernandes we'd have on hell of a Portuguese speaking contingent.

I hope not mate but Tiago does play as a central playmaker, ive always been a fan he didnt get enough game time at Chelsea as he didnt really fit there system, he was outstanding at Lyon and has a proven C.L. pedigree, what he needs is a home. On a loan its another exceptional deal.

If we got Love, Mouthino, Tiago and Fernandes (loans) i think i could possibly get over DK!

Pretty good player, I'd take him. What's with this Portugal love anyway? Is Valente lonely?

Maybe Moyes figures that our big weakness is a serious lack of divers which is why we got 1 penalty last year.

hmmm , tiago , wasnt consistant in the prem last time and has been a flop in italy.he does posses a lot of skill and is international quality though.

8 million is a bit of a gamble.
id rather pay a hell of a lot more and buy moutinho.(on the pitch success , shirt sales revenue and extra bums on seats will pay for the extra bit of fee)

tiago could be a typical newcastle flop .

I think he's the fallback for Moutinho personally, a typical Moyes signing really. Someone who's lost there way and needs there career reviving. Like Pienaar and Arteta for example.

I'd rather we got him on loan with a view to a permanant signing like Newcastle where doing. That would be best for every party. Like the Pienaar deal last season.

Saying all this though I'd much rather have Fernandes, won't happen though.

Sorry mate, but Tiago is a hell of a player. His only flaw is the lack of pace. But he's a good passer, he knows how to occupy defensive positions, can go up and he scores a lot of goals.

Would be a great signing. He should be around 26/27, so there is a lot to come in the following years. And he could be willing to come. He's had a bad season (but under Ranieri, who wouldn't) and he shouldn't be expensive (I think Juve signed him for 12M euros).

He was offered to Sporting in an exchange deal for Veloso. The offer made by the italians was of 15M euros plus Tiago.

This was strong rumour but Tiago's wages draw a line under the word impossible.

So Veloso stayed.

I'd like him at Everton but he shouldn't be a fall back on Moutinho.

We should be looking at getting BOTH.

They should fill the same position on the pitch. Box to box.

But in a 3 man midfield they'd fit in.
