Everyone boos every Liverpool substitution.This. I thought the booing was for him but heard the Liverpool sub. There is no way of knowing who the boos were for but if he thought it was him then can see why he was deflated.
He was still shocking but this seems to be a siuation that wont improve. Fans boo, his confidence drops and he cant be bothered, which in turn causes the fans to understandably get more frustrated and hence more groans and boos.
Either something needs to give or he needs to go.
I was delighted when he finally scored his first goal and for a while it seemed like things were going well.I've been supportive of him so far but after that performance I don't want to see him in a blue shirt again. Effort is the absolute minimum required and he couldn't even be bothered with that.

Can't think there's that many evertonians who'll think it's a good idea to boo one of our players coming on to replace an injured player
I've seen very little to suggest he's got more skills than Beto. He can lay the ball off if it gets played into his feet. That's the lot. As soon as he has to control the ball, turn, or run with the ball he's Sunday League quality. He's a huge striker who's terrible with his head, can't hit a long shot, can't hold the ball up and has bad positional sense. He got more skills than Beto. But he is slow, soft and the worst, his mental strength makes him not suitable for the PL
Yeah,he constantly looks like Bambi on ice to me,Beto certainly has limitations but looks like he works his socks off to improve in training at least, and he cares, this loon doesn't appear to give a flying one.I've seen very little to suggest he's got more skills than Beto. Beto is in a different league to Barry which, given Beto's considerable deficiencies, is terrifying.
Agree with you completely. I thought he had turned a corner after scoring a few, and today would have been an ideal opportunity to put the recent events behind him. Sadly it didn't look like he was bothered. I can't see the fan base taking to him so best for all if he can find somewhere more suitable for him.I was delighted when he finally scored his first goal and for a while it seemed like things were going well.
But he doesn’t seem to have reacted the way you would hope to Beto improving his own form and since the Arsenal flap he’s sulked.
Not a fan of writing young players off but probably better for him as well for a new start somewhere else next season
