I’ve backed Barry but this is a huge misstep from him.

Firstly, he shouldn’t have gave Arsenal fans tickets in our end. Secondly, he shouldn’t haven’t posted it on socials. He’s made a mistake and then dragged the clubs name.

Absolutely no one should have physically assaulted anyone. So neither party comes out of this well.

However, if Barry hadn’t posted it wouldn’t have half the air time. Instead, his mates such have just taken it on the chin, laughed it off and accepted that they messed up too.

Fella put more effort into his social media post than he did the game. I've thought he'd do a job as the back up striker next season but now I'd just get rid. He's one of those journeymen players that will never buy into a club. For someone who clearly has a lack of talent he should be running his heart out but he barely breaks a sweat.

So if I'd been in London yesterday and walked up to the ground and managed to find a ticket for sale they'd find out I was an Evertonian exactly how? I've been to countless games in London over the Premier League years,wonder how on earth I managed it.

Obviously it's possible to get tickets to sit with other fans.

Most people here have probably sat with other fans.

Most people here have probably driven over the speed limit.

There are regulations around both and if you get caught there are consequences.

If I jumped and cheered and was winding up other fans, I would expect some verbal abuse and the stewards to escort me out for everyone's safety.

The fact is, a professional player has endangered fan safety by giving his tickets to people who have misbehaved. He makes a fortune from the game and should know better. To then highlight this on social media just shows how ignorant, entitled and stupid he is.

With that said, it’s very well-known that a lot of said worms exist and so putting them there was stupid.

I liked the idea of Barry continuing his improvement here, but this doesn’t feel like the kind of thing that you come back from. Hopefully he’s notched enough goals to get us a reasonable return for him.
