2025/26 Thierno Barry

He was very poor yesterday, and his post was ill-judged at best.

The fans were right behind him , despite his lacklustre performances, and now he’s lost them completely.

Assuming the guys were indeed supporting Arsenal, then he’s finished at Everton. Even if it hadn’t kicked off, you have to doubt his intelligence and his loyalty to the fans that have stuck with him.
I think our fans were very restraint by the sounds of it.
89 minutes they were there with red shirts on. No problems!!!
When they score they were apparently giving out and laughing, taking photos etc. They sound like idiots and got what was expect and would happen in any other away fan section. Barry is finished here now regardless of his skill set or lack of. I don’t want him anywhere near our club anymore. Don’t care if he apologises the die is cast!!

So Costco carpark or the MMA academy for forum straighteners? Do we need a poll? It'll save time on the threatening PM's.

I was stood next to the group of black fans that were attacked. I was told that they were family/friends of our players before KO.... they looked like 2 or three different family groups, but they may have all been together. I didn't see any of them celebrate the goals (but there were a couple behind too, so I could've missed it), but one of them made the stupid decision to film the ground as Arsenal celebrated the goal, and everyone around reacted. The 3 next to me (looked like a man and wife with teenage son) looked pretty scared tbh.... amd there were a few racist shouts too. I managed to calm the loons trying to get to them in our row, but it was coming from all around by then.... and the black lads further along were having to defend themselves from behind and in front.... so it quickly began to escalate a bit. Stewards and police started to intervene and it got dragged further along the row. The few remaining near me waited for it to calm down before leaving. Not very pleasant tbh. I'm assuming that they may have been his family/friends.... seemed to be a mixture of accents.

I've no idea if any were Arsenal fans Tbh, but I can't say anything really, I've sat with home fans all over the place and mostly got away with it. Wasn't pleasant seeing the rascist stuff and the family group looking terrified though.

Agreed, not many clubs in France or Spain will be able or willing to match his wages.

Best for everyone if he does move on though
No Way any club who's board have eyes will buy him, I think he gets loaned out each year until his contract is up with probably paying half his wages.
I don't even think newly promoted clubs would go near him.

I don't think the way he plays suggests much respect for the club so him putting his mates who support Arsenal in the away end doesn't surprise me at all. He's extremely lucky to have the backing he's had this season.

So if I'd been in London yesterday and walked up to the ground and managed to find a ticket for sale they'd find out I was an Evertonian exactly how? I've been to countless games in London over the Premier League years, wonder how on earth I managed it.
You sound like you're either trying to take the Morale Highground, or you really don't understand the reality of the game.

No one is saying violence is acceptable, but you have to be really stupid and lack any knowledge of respect.

Do I believe you have been to all these games and cheered in the home section, nah!!

Knuckle scrapers in every fanbase. Sad to hear about it coming from our fans.

There's no defence for attacking those people and justifying it - it's a discredited Desmond Morris type law of humans defending territory in an ape-like manner.

That said, they should not have been there on a number of levels. The player is ultimately responsible for that.
