Been as big a critic as anyone, and his overall play was exposed compared to DCL today…but what an instinctive and clever finish. His effort with the outside of the boot too…he just needs to keep his head up and keep trying to score however he can. He had a few runs in the first half that showed some pace when he applies it too

I think the biggest worry is his shoulder and how that affects him in games.

If our midfield unit moved more and was able to find him in positions to finish then he will excel it seems, otherwise he probably isn't creating much on his own.

He scores again off scraps. Can’t really ask for more than that. 5 PL goals to date in a debut season for a young striker in mid table team isn’t bad.

He wasn't great today but as you say - scored again. A few more performances like against Villa and a few more goals and that's definitely him reaching expectations, especially given how young he is. Fair play to the lad for sticking at it

Maybe he is having a purple patch and might not last but he is scoring different types of goals than Beto did this time last year.

It's not the scoring I'm worried about now. His link up is on a level with Beto. We really struggled tonight but he finished his chance.

What an absolute legend. Comes to the hardest league in the world as a foreign kid. Was never supposed to be first choice. Yet after a handful of games is a goal machine.

Yeah mate I agree. I think our team is too static most of the time, and that's been a problem across many managers and players so can't really even be blamed on Moyes.

If we could get closer to Barry and create more opportunities then he's certainly showing he would score more goals.

True but one skill won one half and the other won the other. Ultimately it was a draw. It would be nice to find or build a player who can do both
