2025/26 Thierno Barry

If the ‘Academy’ cant produce a striker better than Barry, lets shut it down because it is abysmal..spend the savings on buying a left back with pace…

….i don’t know the answer to this but are many PL teams playing with a regular striker from their Academy?

I suppose you could ask is Barry better than Ellis Simms who was produced by us but we moved him on.

What's Braiden Graham doing for the rest of the season?
He could likely improve by using the minutes the two clowns we currently have use.

Not physical enough and isn't an out and out striker. One thing is for sure though, If I was a betting man I'd wager Graham would stick the opportunities that Beto and Barry seem to struggle with away on a consistent basis.

Anyone who has a goal scorer isn't selling them by choice in January. Not a chance we'll be getting 2 of them. Sad reality is he'll be staying put and surely starting every week no matter what.

We won't be making Europe with Barry and Beto up top that's for certain. Halfway through December and a goal each to show for nearly half a season is embarrassing.

Not sure I'd say the back 4 is the reason why we've been amongst the lowest goal scoring teams in the league for a few years now. Michael Keane, who is supposed to be a backup defender, has the same number of goals as both our strikers combined. I'd say the biggest issues are at the top end of the pitch more than the bottom.
Playing a centre back and Mykolenko as our two full backs is absolutely massively detrimental to our attacking output, and our ability to build from the back and control the ball.

I'm 99% certain we wont be making Europe any way. Not without someone who knows how to put the ball in the net, and they aren't easy to get in January. Embarrassing that our best "striker" is a 30-something third choice center back.

Yeah I get what you're saying but we could have the best full backs in the world and it would only count for so much if the lads whose job it is to put the ball in the net couldn't hit water if they fell out a boat.
