I won't have a go at him today because I don't think the tactics did him any favours. There's obviously a good player there, not world class but still better than what we've got by a long shot. Just look at the mess that is Bolasie on the other wing.

This guy is still the same player who Erikson took to the world cup. Has the ability but has no footballing brain what so ever.

He has literally progressed about 2% in the last 12 years

Our forward play out of of midfield has been for a long time now slow, laborious and lacking creativity. As a result, we're very easy to read.

You can see that Walcott especially has the movement and anticipation to make great moves off the ball, but he knows the ball won't be made.

Furthermore, our left hand side with Bolasie lacks pretty much any impetus and this means Baines is also heavily restricted in what he can do.
