Why do they hate their own country and fellow Americans so much when they've lived the most privileged of lives there?
Broken people that shouldn't be anywhere near power
Why do they hate their own country and fellow Americans so much when they've lived the most privileged of lives there?
We're getting ours out of the way early so we can watch with clear eyes and clear conscience when you MAGAs realise you've punched yourselves and your MAGA neighbours in the balls and called it owning the libsAre you babies really gonna cry about Trump for the next four years?
He doesn't give a rats a$$ what disappoints youHonestly, it will be a huge kick in the teeth to the electorate that got Trump into the White House if he goes ahead and appoints a warhawk like Rubio as a secretary of state. I will be very disappointed.
8 years of itI think it is more a case of people in general having valid concerns about him, as opposed to some angry left cohort. The proof will be in the pudding, maybe he will surprise everyone and do good things, or maybe he will be deceptive and do whatever cements his control and inflates his bank balance. Time will tell but I think it is reasonable for people to have concerns given the evidence so far.
Presumably they will deport them to their country of origin, meaning they are not setting up another asylum scenario. So I brought this up in the election thread shortly before it was closed, but thought it was worth revisiting.
It feels like "We're gonna build the wall and Mexico is gonna pay for it" Mk.II
A lot of Trumps election policies feel like good soundbites with little substance.
The border wall for instance, they never got Mexico to pay for it and once they realised A) how incredibly expensive it was and B) that it isn't very effective at keeping people out, the work on it slowed.
The logistics for the mass deportation plan has even more pitfalls. Using the Conservatives failed plan at flying immigrants out to Rwanda as a guide, the issues are that you have to have an agreed destination to send people to. You can't just land a plane full of immigrants at a Mexican airport and expect them to take them in. There needs to be a pre-agreed deal. One that will usually involve lots of money and some sort of other concessions.
There's also the legal and moral aspect to mass deportations, which is why a lot of people here baulked at the Rwanda plan.
I imagine there'll be a few flights to some pre-agreed country, they'll realise it's costing an ungodly amount of money for not much of an impact and then let the plan fade off into the night just like the border wall.
Ideally, if you want to better regulate the southern border, better funding, manpower and resources to the border force working there along with a better planned and funded cooperative effort with Mexico to police their side of the border and crack down on the cartel smuggling gangs would likely be more effective.
I can also envisage Biden's border security bill making a reappearance under a different name with the GOP taking credit for it.
Are you babies really gonna cry about Trump for the next four years?
Any person should be worried that someone found to have committed SA (and even boasted about it) can still get elected. You’d think guys who support him don’t have mothers/ sisters/ daughters/ wives.
Clinton ?…….
Your imaginary wife is cheating on you.Are you babies really gonna cry about Trump for the next four years?
Goes towards funding his campaign i guess, as opposed to raising over a billion and giving it straight to a bunch of multi millionaires/billionaires for trite and "chite" phony endorsements that did nothing to move the needle. It is a little odd, that with the overarching message being about your everyday american voter being significantly poorer that somehow trumps base were able to stump up the cash for naff branded bibles, playing cards, really crud looking hi-tops, and whatever other loads of old knock off chite*.
america is poor, buy my truth social and truth-coin and all the rest of it and I'll make you wealthier. Manic tv evangelism and its associated empty promises crossed with the nastiness and hatred of the third reich. The worst of both types.
Guessing he meant Paula Jones, although still not the sameOk it’s been a few days since that happened and maybe I’ve forgotten but was that abuse? Seemed consensual and inappropriate but neither assault nor abuse.
Who has gone "batshit crazy" and how Pete? You're not exaggerating here are you?No one in here ‘supports’ him, but going batshit crazy about him being elected by a majority of Americans doesn’t really help…….
