Are those foreign policy or internal issues though LL?

Vietnam was a conflict the US was directly involved in, same with Afghanistan and Iraq.

They're not directly involved in Israel which is why I would consider that solely in the area of foreign policy.

On the point made in the Tweet about Senate confirmations, didn't Trump explicitly and publicly call for anyone wanting to run to replace McConnell as majority leader had to agree to put the Senate into recess so his cabinet picks go through without needing any vetting? And all 3 of them agreed to it?

Elderly Soviets must be crying into their vodka about how easy all this has been.
