Trump's cabinet nominations are pretty much just like my ignore-list on GOT. A bunch of massive right-wing dangers and inept clowns.
You think Rubio is "right-wing"? The same Rubio that opposed the withdrawal in Afghanistan and supports funding Ukraine?

Just looks like he's bringing in people this time who've already bent the knee to him.

Given his first term when he was constantly undermined and subsequently slated by most of them I can understand why from his perspective he's doing this.

Still it's crazy watching these names come up in reality.

Was firmly in the camp of it'll be a lot of talk prior but Washington blob as usual running the dhow like the first term l. Opinion has done a 180 on that now, this is gonna be a very very weird presidency.

I wasn't joking the other week when I stated nothing will really change so just curiousity got me interested, that's changed, he's going all in here with some picks i absolutely never in a million years thought he'd do.
This is what the people want. Trump has the absolute mandate to do what he wants to do after his landslide. The likes of Gabbard, RFK Jr, Elon changed the game for Trump in this campaign.

How on earth is this healthy for any political party to feel about its leader?

Yeah that's not a good sign to blindly follow a leader.

I would say the party should rally around its leader and once a decision is made, they get behind it 100%, however they should feel empowered to disagree in private and state their reasons.

The great American company Amazon has a core policy called Disagree & Commit. Essentially they want employees to challenge decision makers with opinions backed up by facts, but once a decision has ultimately been made they are to commit to it and put all of their efforts into ensuring it is followed through on, regardless of whether they previously objected to it.

That was a really nice welcome from Biden to Trump at the White House and some seemingly genuine words between the pair of them. Very very good to see. I don't think the animosity between them is anywhere near as bad as it is made out.

I think there was one part of the mini speech that did all the heavy lifting 'smooth transition of power'.

Of course, with Trump being a massive narcissist it did not even register on his radar that Biden may have been taking a little pop at him.
