It’s been less than 10 days. I knew it would be bad, but I’m honestly not sure I imagined it would be this bad. Even for as awful as he is, I still don’t think I would have believed you if you told me two weeks ago that he would get on the mic and blame an air disaster on the FAA (and also maybe the military) for of employing black people and/or women. His capacity for continuing to shock me is astounding.

FAA have been incompetent and there has been near-misses for years now, as @wm02 rightfully pointed out. It was only a matter of time until an actual accident was going to happen. That's a very fair assessment of the situation.

@Ruairi77 assessment is political hogwash based on an executive decision taken 6 days ago, and somehow decided to connect that to this tragedy. It's disingenuous.

FAA are at fault for this tragedy. There have been many near-misses over the last few years so it was only a matter of time a tragedy would happen. There needs to be investigation into FAA and Trump needs to clean house.
