TBF I don't think the vast majority of his actual wealth is in Tesla, and what wealth there is there is tied up (almost entirely) with the share price bubble of that company. When it pops we will all be told he lost billions by the usual excitable people, that his project is over and so on but he will be left with SpaceX whilst the rest of the investors who piled in seeking easy money will be left holding the bag.

The vast majority of Musk's wealth is in Tesla. Vast majority as in well over 50%. Could be something like 2/3 or more of Musk's wealth. Though the exact % is unknown as he's in legal dispute over some Tesla ownership and the exact worth of SpaceX is kinda debatable.
