Current Affairs The WOKE

What is your fascination with the far right? My answer had nothing to do with the far right or any political views that I or anyone else holds. It's related to the selfish views that the woke have! It's all about them. Me, me, me they may as well shout when they cover a priceless painting in an art gallery with some battery acid. They are incredibly selfish people that think their protests and their feelings about something is more important than the people being disadvantaged by it. Like the ambulance trying to take someone to hospital while a road is barricaded, or a mother taking her children to school or someone trying to get to work.

These people do not have any respect for "individuals, the environment and human rights." Where are their woke protests in defence of the Uyghur Muslims in China where there is genocide? Where was their woke protests in defence of human rights when everybody was being locked down or forced to undertake a Covid vaccine or they lose their job when elderly people where dying in misery alone, prevented from seeing their loves ones or children prevented from going to school? Instead during the lockdown these woke fools were actually wasting the countries time taking part in BLM riots at Downing St, if you remember, daubing the cenotaph and Winston Churchill's statue with paint, wrecking state buildings and all for an incident that had absolutely nothing to do with the UK.
Funny that's just how my headmaster accused me of being (selfish) when I rucked up in Wales as a kid, with strong regional English accent and set of skills useful for urban life, not Welsh speaking rural setting, and reacted to his unjust attention. Now I know for many years probably still at school it was him in a position of power and influence who was in the wrong and a bully. Ho hum...

They have convinced themselves that the woke are some sort of elite movement hell bent on bringing down society as we know it, when in reality it, it is a few spotty students and someone's gran asking that we show a little respect.

People like @Toffee_Loaf have totally fallen for it

It is astonishing.

I disagree - they've not "convinced themselves" of anything, this is a deliberate push by them to divide the country against itself.

One of the very few things people in the UK agree on (and this applies to the US as well) is that the country is in a mess, and has been for some time. The natural conclusion that anyone, left or right, would draw is that the people who run the country are responsible for it being in a mess. The logical remedy is that those people are removed from running the country, and better people are selected instead who can put things right.

Therefore the people who run the country have to do something to prevent themselves losing their power and status, and so we've seen vast sums plowed into creating the mechanisms by which the population can be divided - entire new TV networks, empowerment of the traditional media to the point of sanctioning open criminality (if they are on the right side), the creation of social media and its legal protection and so on. Once established, those mechanisms then churn out all of the nonsense we've seen for the past twenty years.

No-one should be surprised if people like loaf, or pete, or joey, or anyone of the people we all know IRL who lap this sort of crap up believe it - its been very expensively, very precisely tailored to make them like it. The problem the people who run the country have is that they are up against reality, and sooner or later those people are going to realise precisely how much they have been taken for utter fools.

The amount of enemies they like to cite grows year on year.

Labour, renegade tories, the EU, the ultra-woke civil service, the left wing media, the unions, doctors, nurses, postmen, trans activists, just stop oil, judges, activist lawyers….that’s just off the top of my head.

It’s a calculated propaganda, designed to get a certain demographic angry, as anger is a motivating emotion, intended to motivate that demographic to vote.

That’s it. That’s the culture war. Nothing more than a lever to pull to galvanise their base.

It is the seething, festering anger from the right towards anything they do not understand that bothers me.Like you say., the amount of enemies they have created for themselves to vent at is frightening. We are no where near as bad (divided) as the US, but it is going that way.

I cannot see how it ends nicely.

Yeah the ‘woke’ are just the latest in a long line of folk-devils.
Once people realise their lives are no different, if not worse, after all this furore then they generally seem to move on to something else.

An early pseudo-controversy that, no doubt, our most recent resident angry-failure would have been railing against.

@ForeverBlue92 You really should address this post by @Prevenger17 Are you blaming society for your sexual deviancy below?...or what? Genuinely curious about your quote "Too much sexual deviancy brainwashing our future generations" and how you reconcile it with your other quotes. Who gets to define "sexual deviancy"?
