Current Affairs The WOKE

The Human Rights Campaign group, a significant lobbyist for LGBTQ+ rights, publish the Corporate Equality Index. This index ranks your company on how you treat your LGBTQ+ staff.

PVH Corp (who own the Calvin Klein) recently scored a perfect 100.

The ads aren't some nefarious plan, they are simply, in the current climate, good for business. Yes you may suffer a short term loss of sales (probably a tiny fraction of overall sales, if even that) but in a few months time when everyone has forgotten about it and moved onto the next thing, PVH will come away with a perfect 100 score.

What do the board of PVH and other faceless corporations care about the most? Money.

OK, so being woke is normal - even though you say there's no such thing as normal. Anyway, if it is normal to be woke, my challenge to you and the others that support this is why aren't you doing it also?

How about this. If we're losing on Sunday, can I look forward to a woke protest with you invading the pitch with a men's bra on, so you can show your solidarity for cruelly victimised trans models?

If you do, what do you think the reaction would be of the rest of the stadium? Do you think fans will applaud in understanding of this injustice pervading our society or do you think they would ridicule you? You know, because if it is normal, surely you'd be willing to take part in a woke protest. Will @Prevenger17 accept the challenge? For men's bras ... I'm sure DCL will join in with you :)
Somebody catch his head rolling down the road there please.. seems to have fallen off

You get credit for putting that down. The usual suspects would be far too cowardly to do so (or not capable of doing so), so well done.

As for my brain and it 'being broken', I'm happy for you to critique my thoughts and the reasons for those thoughts any time. That capacity for self-reflection doesn't sound like a broken brain to me. A broken brain is one incapable of taking criticism (like the saddos for example). What was it Einstein said of those repeating the same things over and over - it's the definition of ... Do continue to seek improvement!

Unsure of what exactly I put down that is worthy of a 'well done'. I am not going to take it as patronising although it might well have been meant that way, tough to tell in the written format.

I think it was the ranting about why the woke are not acting like the people they do not despise, this led to the brain being broken comment, that I stole off of others.

I am not trans, I am not part of their community. It doesn't make me less sympathetic to their cause of wanting to be included in society and not be the barrage of bullying and abuse. In this forum, however, I do have the opportunity to respond to people who do want to bully and abuse a minority and offer my viewpoint and argue against their viewpoint. Just because I do this, does not mean that I have to overtly do any public demonstration of my opinion, that is where your point just seemed all over the place.

I think people were calling you brain broken because of how rambling and incoherent your posts have been in all honesty.

My challenge: if you're sooooo anti-woke, why not pick up a gun and travel across state lines to kill two people who are protesting a police shooting?

Same energy.

I think everybody can see, yet again, that it is those that cannot explain or justify are again resorting to insults, bullying and so it goes on. I ain't intimidated in the slightest. I have acted reasonably, fairly and constructively.

Still my challenge remains: If you believe woke is so normal and for the better of society. Why aren't you engaged in a woke protest for the terrible injustices that are all around us? Get out and change the world ... everybody will think so highly of you
You may have said already, and I missed it but, what is your issue with “the woke”?

Genuine question

The lady is fine but we shouldn't be parading around fat bearded blokes wearing bra's mate.

Dont get me wrong I'm a Libertarian at heart - if some fella wants to dress up in his ma's clothes thats his busines but glamourising it in the media is taking society/our children down a dark winding road.

We can add "libertarian" to the list of words you don't understand, then.
