So many fights to watch today thou i would like my time back that was spent watching mvp fight. My god that was boring. I usually enjoy watching page fight bloke has so much talent and can hurt u alot of different ways but that was the biggest snooze fest ever.

UFC 206 is need of a new main event.
Light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier has been forced to withdraw from his Dec. 10 title fight against Anthony Johnson due to an injury, MMA Fighting has confirmed with multiple sources. The promotion is currently working on a new headliner, however, nothing is finalized just yet. The hope, as of right now, is to keep Johnson on the card.
This marks the second big fight UFC 206 lost this week: On Monday, Tim Kennedy revealedon The MMA Hour that he was in need of a new opponent after the Ontario Athletic Commission refused to license Rashad Evans. The UFC is hoping to book Kennedy vs. Kelvin Gastelum, but that fight is not official yet either.
UFC 206 is scheduled to take place at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The current co-main event is Anthony Pettis vs. Max Holloway. The rest of the main card features Donald Cerrone vs. Matt Brown and Cub Swanson vs. Doo Ho Choi.

It's a pity they didn't sort GSP for this card, then it wouldn't have hit them so hard.
I hope Tim Kennedy moves up and steps in, that guy is so annoying it's about the only time I'd want to watch him fight.

I agree, I'm supposed they tried to book him so soon after being denied the first time.
Kennedy came out and said Rashad has brain damage. I guess that's a term that can cover a whole host of issues but it doesn't look good for him.
Yep if it is the case of brain damage i cant believe the ufc risked booking him. With all the concern about long term concussion mdamages and the side effects find it hard to work out why the ufc would even consider booking him. Hopefully he retires continues with his tv work on fox and can sit back enjoyingg his highlight reel cos its pretty impressive

Pettis vs Holloway now for the interim title, surely meaning Aldo is champion and McGregor has been stripped.

They should have done two interim belts and had Aldo vs the winner of Pettis and Holloway to unify. That makes more sense to me. That way someone, in theory at least, would win the unified belt rather than get handed it.
Still, though, it's a strange one.
Aldo the "champion" got flattened in 13 seconds by someone who never actually defended or lost his belt, Frankie Edgar has lost twice to Aldo but beat nearly everyone else, nobody cares about Max Holloway after a 9 fight winning streak and Anthony Pettis has been given a title shot after one fight in the division despite losing three of his last four. McGregor has left 145 in a truly bizarre state of affairs.
Yeah annoys me no end that edgar has been unable to work out how to beat aldo. Id back him against both max and pettis everyday of the week. Hopefully now conor has left the devision things can get back in order. Hopefully lightweight devision doesnt follow suit and turn to crap. Either way should be some good fights coming up .

Christ, I didn't know his son was terminally ill.
Fairly certain Herb Dean stopped the fight. He apparently claimed he thought the buzzer went and accidentally stopped it early but you could hear him saying to Camozzi "I told you to defend yourself" and he waved it off rather than just seperate them. Be interesting to see an explanation for that.
Yeah i hadnt heard the kelly thing till a fue mma sites started posting abut it after the fight. Apparently suffers from a incurable blood disease.
Dean needs to be more decisive in his ref work leaves to much doubt in what he is doing some times.
