while i would never vote for the conservatives i would also find it difficult to vote for a party that took us to war on a false pretext in the face of the largest ever protest on the streets of england. or a party who have continued to push private finance initiatives meaning that the children's hospital i work in is unfit for purpose and there is nothing they will do about it. in my heart can i vote for a party that spent many billions of pounds bailing out failing banks and is now talking about cutting front line NHS staff?
The system is so defunct that in order to remove one gang of unprincipled chancers from power we essentially have to vote in another. it stinks.

Like I said before, politicians are like cigarettes, they are all bad but some do less damage than others.
That lot above --- the type of ***s that would do some serious damage to our health.
A few people said that it's hard to vote for a party that took us to war etc but I would guess that if the Tories had been in power, we would have been there in greater numbers than now.
Brown is indeed being blamed for the economic meltdown but whoever had been in power would have had to manage it in a similar way IMHO.
Anyway, we all have our opinions, we have all lived our own lives and not everyone was touched by the Thatcher years, ......lucky them.

That is EXACTLY why the smarmy belters shouldnt be voted in.
They have zero idea of the struggle of the common man/woman/family and never will.
Unfortunately politics is a media driven show of angles and soundbites and policy manifestos that get dropped due to this decades unforeseen circumstances.
Try not to go harsh on Bruce though peeps, his viewpoint is different and even though Im opposite some of what he says is true, like the need to take personal responsibility in society.

Its a common british custom not to talk about politics or religion, which is a shame I think as they are perhaps the two things people should be bothered about. I do find it funny though that the people who claim to be the most liberal are also the ones who are vehmently opposed to any other point of view and will shout them down at the first opportunity, claiming some kind of higher knowledge on the subject! "You are stupid because you dont agree with me." It doesnt get more ignorant than that.
