Not convinced by that, he could have just said nothing in that case, people weren't really shouting for news one way or another about the Annexe. The majority have got to the past caring point I reckon.

He had to address it at some point because he said he would. But this addresses it by the back door of a blog...and puts a lid on it by stating pretty much "that's all there is to it until a partner can be found". Maybe he'll learn from this episode and belt up until all the i's are dotted and the t's crossed. Otherwise he'll have to do the same thief in the night, auld arse trick he's done here again.

New club owners don't want to commit to any mid to long term building projects, especially ones which would get right in the way of the new main stand when they revamp Goodison and turn the pitch through 90 degrees, and this is the easiest way to just forget about it...

Im not sure how a takeover would be fail on BUs part, if anything, it would be deemed a success.
