Lids I have it on good authority that the takeover will be announced middle of next week, talks have been ongoing for over a month and everything is being finalised, as others have commented there will be reasonable funds available in Jan but big bucks spent in the summer. New owners will look to build a new stadium but not in the immediate future.

Why? The only news we are going to be leaked it (a) talks are going well and when its at the final stage that they've (b) entered a period of due diligence. We might even get a leak of who the other parties are, but I wouldn't expect a week on week commentary and from my POV, while all of us want that, if I was the board, that would be the last thing I'd do.

So, are you saying that the process of due diligence has taken place and an offer has been made and accepted?

And as you were going to post this on the Blackburn forum, are you referring to Blackburn or Everton?
