Exactly, he would have benefited himself, not Everton, himself (or was that a typo).

I really can't belive that we've come down to bickering about whether johnson was better than Kenwright.
OK my tuppence worth. I can't wait for the return of the Johnson era. A life long liverpool supporter owning OUR club AND Tranmere in total contravention of the FA rules (well they never said anything anyway, so who gives a damn).
A chairman who threw lots of money Walters Smiths way, and then took it back off him forcing him to sell all his best players - anyone remember Dacourt?. Oh yes, don't forget those glorious last day of the season relegation days. Oh yes, I really wish we could bring back those days. So much better than finishing in the top ten than out.
But the reality is that they both had their good and bad points. Personally I'm not a Johnson fan, others are. I'm not sure where this all gets us except an ongoing extension of the Board thread - which is why this thread should probably be closed until we have some proper confirmed news.

I was just trying to highlight a few things really.
Johnson is seen as this all evil consuming kopite, im not saying he wasnt, im just trying to see that for every "mistake" the Kopite made, Kenwrong has made the same, if not more.
