Bt they'd have known that before starting negotiations. They'd probably be much more stuck on the issue of three dickheads trying to squeeze unreal profit for the shares they bought.

If we are to believe the report in the Lancashire newspaper, I see it that Blackburn's ground needs re-vamping as well (or a new stadium that would appeal to such an owner). Don't think Ewood Park is better than Goodison to be honest. However if it's down to the perceived 'asking price' that's an obvious issue as Blackburn would surely be sold for well below what we are supposed to be asking.

Overall we have a bigger fan base, better team despite our league position, a bigger standing in terms of history (and that's no disrespect to Blackburn's history) and more potential to move up the table quickly (with just a few additions to the current squad). I would be surprised if somebody with multi billions behind them would be worried over our 'asking price' especially when making comparisons between Blackburn and Everton!

As I said, I'm not denying he made mistakes. The King Dock's fiasco certainly being the biggest one. Anyone who thinks he did screw up on purpose should have his head examined though.

As for johnson, we were in a much worse state in on the field affairs under Johnson than we are under Kenwright. At the moment we're not even half way into the season and are afraid of losing out on a top table position. Under Johnson we went into the final games of the season fearing the very real possibility of relegation.


To be absolutely honest, I believe even Mike Walker would've made Rangers champions in those days. The SPL was a one horse race at that time

I think that there are very few people who would advocate the status quo remain forever.

The problem with personalising the issue is that if this takeover happens and he's given a role which doesn't involved him controlling money (Chairman in name like the Sunderland former chair), but meets our future aspirations are you still going with this "hate" thing?
