Funny a keeper is one area that hasn't been mentioned much but if big Tim went down with an injury we'd all be bricking it with Mucha between the sticks every week.

Someone mentioned that Craig Gordon is still available on a free, could be worth a shout got to be better than Mucha.

He's not a striker and would get bullied all over the place in the Premier League leading the line on his own.

Anichebe is rubbish, and Vellios isn't fancied by Moyes.

We really desperately need a quality second striker.

He is a forward. He can play anywhere across the forward line.

I don't see the point in spending the little money we have on a position where we have ample cover (Jelavic/Mirallas/Naismith/Anichebe/Vellios) and only one of those players will play that position in any game as we play 4-5-1.

I dont really see what thats based on. Gordon had a purple patch many years ago. Thats it.

I dont really get the Mucha concern. As far as back up keepers go he is a great one to have. Its hard for a keeper to just step in after months of inactivity.

hmmmm not sure he is an out an out striker in the Jelavic mould mate, plus he's still finding his feet. Think Moyes would be more likely to go with big Vic which leads back to my original point in that an experienced back up striker would have been nice.....but not Kevin Doyle!

Adam has qualities no doubt about that. If he wants him and sees something in him then I shall trust his judgement.
