Agree with every word. It's been worse. Much much worse.
These last few weeks are part of a large blip, not a bottomless chasm.
A few more troubled waters then let the good times roll.

Steve Simonsen, Peter Clarke, David Weir, Alan Stubbs, David Unsworth, Alessandro Pistone, Tobias Linderoth (Niclas Alexandersson, 46), Paul Gascoigne, Scot Gemmill (Jesper Blomqvist, 74),
Joe-Max Moore (Nick Chadwick, 46), Tomasz Radzinski.

even with our depleted team i just can't see even one player from that lot who would make the side. ok, weir and stubbs saved us from relegation so i'm being a bit harsh. but the rest.... mercy.

Beautiful stuff mate.

But what I want to know is, what happened in the media that made you want to not allow yourself to be exposed to the bright lights of sky sports or the tit infested star?

The alienation of the working class from the game.

Saint and Greavsie was about as satirical as I wanted it. Hate the use of stuff like "the big 4" as I mentioned and the condescending nature of the game now.

Well that's the game though isn't it? I'd love to get back to the days where the vidy printer would print (seven) if the team had scored more than 6.

Or when the only time you knew someone had scored was when it flashed up on ceefax reveal.

NAH, not rolling back to that.

Just less of the sensationalism that its infected the media and mostly football. The footballers shouldnt be earning what they are at the expense of the fans.

I never get bored of hearing the good Senator.

He says it right though. People are giving money away. Players are earning far more than what we as fans are putting in as opposed to what they earned in the 80s.

So the money is coming from tv and media, who in turn are getting rich off the sport. Will it carry on? Will we see a billionairre footballer?

Someone with no intelligence other than the natural ability to run fast with a ball.
