Neiler

Player Valuation: £100m
After all the doom and gloom mongering im really encouraged by the below quotes from Davey and us being one of the few clubs he feels can mmatch his ambition. Oh and a rare Nugget by the Philster on what the mangers expectaions are for the Season!

"There's been no suggestion from me that I will walk out, never, and I will sign the new contract with Everton - maybe even before the weekend. It is with the lawyers now," he said yesterday.

"I still passionately believe that we can go forward, and the club can match my ambitions. I think it is one of three or four clubs in the country that can do that.

"I'm desperately disappointed by what has happened over the past week, but my response is to turn round and fight, because there is nothing rotten here, it is just the circumstances we have had to face."

"At a club like Everton there will always be difficult time that there will be dips and blips," he added.

I agree and i like the way that moyes is now talking just one question when he talks about 3 or 4 clubs who can match his ambition does he include the so called big 4 in that or are they outside the big 4

Sorry to disagree with you Neiler 'cause I generally like to agree with you

But to me the above looks a bit like Bill speaking. It's bullshit and doesn't really say anything. It's a statement meant to show him in a good light and it appears a backtrack on his behaviour during the summer. The grass isn't greener elsewhere and I think Davey has only just realised it. Oh, and the bit about 3 clubs being able to match his ambition is [Poor language removed]. I can think of at least ten teams in the PL that are above, level with or near to us in potential.

And I wish someone would tell Neville to keep his mouth shut next time someone asks him for a quote. These constant quotes being attributed to him are starting to grate now.

Hmm wrong day for this thread me thinks!

Right day for this thread I think... let's pick the bones out of today's performance.

1. We didn't lose, although it feels like it we didn't.
2. That first half was probably some of the best football we've played all season no doubt about it.
3. Fellaini finally looks like he's settling into things, hopefully it won't take too many more matches to accustomise himself to the premiership.
4. Moyes actually looked like he gave a [Poor language removed] today.
