The little girl that sung at the ceremony was also fake. Apparently another girl was singing behind the scenes but she wasn't chosen to be on stage because she was too ugly, so she had to sing backstage whilst a pretty kid mimed out front :blink:

Today some random US woman who name I already forgotten won a bronze in an event that involved shooting things. And we are celebrating because we haven't won a event that uses a firearm in the Olympics since like 1960 or something. This isn't a cause to celebrate, this is a national disgrace. If there is one event that we should be dominant in, its destroying things with firearms. For christ's sake this is what we do for fun on weekends (and keep in mind this is a an Obama loving blue state too):

Watching the woman's gymnastics team finals. They only use 3 gymnasts for each discipline now. That's not a team, that's not even a relay.
Notice how petite and young looking the Team China girls are, compared to the Team USA girls, who look older and are much bigger. One of the American girls has boobies!! I thought if you had any amount of cleavage you couldn't be a gymnast!

Our best one is about 3ft 8in though.
The 3 people thing also keeps alot of deserving gymnasts from the all around and rewards too many specialists.
