It's amateur boxing. Safety is important -- it's all about the sport and tactical elements rather than just brutality.

The boxing's great anyway, I've been loving it so far. A few moments of (admittedly exciting) controversy aside, it's been a great display of sportsmanship, competitiveness and entertainment topped off with some fine commentary.

Ha Ha. I missed that reference. Nice work though. Lewis is coming across like a bit of a sad and lost soul in these Olympics. I have no idea what his status is back in the U.S.

didnt see the cycling this morning but just read that Kenny broke Hoys record in the sprint and was a lot quicker than Bauge, could be important that battle for the medal table

I hope he wins individual gold. He deserves to step out from behind Hoy's shadow now. I thought in Beijing he had the firepower to overhaul him back then, but maybe he buckled under a bit of pressure.
