Dwayne Chambers doesn't half get some stick. I have to laugh at the attitude of the BBC team toward him. Barely concealed disgust....from the same people that loved Honest Linford Christie.

Denise Lewis hates anyone that is a man or isn't Jessica Ennis, she's jealous as **** of Ennis

defo, the way Cram commentates whenever Chambers races is a disgrace, hes there to be objective the miserable beaut

I like Chambers. Seems like a nice guy.

You don't know the pressure and circumstances that can drive athletes to doping to be honest. It doesn't seem fair to be so high and mighty.

There is a book out called the dirtiest race in history that deals with the Seoul 88 100m , 6 out of that 8 finalists have been subsequently implicated in drug use including Christie & Lewis and its an insight into that sport . At least chambers accepted his guilt but the fact we have a 'drugs cheat' who's 'offence' is apparently airbrushed out of his history involved in coaching and still celebrated is a bit frustrating

This. It's good to see that he did well and I hope he makes the final. Everyone makes mistakes from time to time, it just so happened that his was more public than a lot of peoples.

Worst offender is that Radcliffe bint. Sees herself as a witchfinder general against drug using athletes. meanwhile, she gets the cash to go to training camps around the globe high above sea level to pack her blood choc full of red blood cells. That's not getting an unfair advantage like. Oh no.

Made up she had to drop out. Moralising [Poor language removed].

At the end of the day, when your own country is basically against you, you've got to have a certain amount of character and guts to come back from it all. And it looks like he's done that. That was a fine, fine time he posted and I bet there were plenty of people there -- Britons -- who would have loved to see him fail.
