It's a very American mentality I think that sees greater scores as greater entertainment.

For me sport is about the drama of it all. I'm not arsed if you score a million goaliewoaliehomerundunkitties, it's just a number really.

Quarters + Timeouts = advertising time. It is why they hate hate hate ''soccer'' and have steadily poured more money into the NFL as ''soccer'' has got more popular. That amount of pay in the NFL is also solely responsible for the dearth in talent making it on the USA boxing scene. Very clever very wealth people with assets to protect.

You have a favorite NBA team? College basketball can be really good too depending on the area. I used to watch Durant play in high school. Very glad to see what he's done since then

my first girlfriend impressed me by saying she played for south west wales hockey. i thought this was some sort of an achievement until she said she'd never played a game of hockey. she either got it wrong or the player pool was very small
