Don't want to put too much of a dampener on this thread but just read this, pretty appalling really, didn't find our her grandparents had died for a year and her mum had breast cancer so they could keep her focused on gold. Bit extreme for me:

British record and World Best (this year)?
Was it a British record for hurdles in the heptathlon or was it a British record for Hurdles outright?
I thought she was being roped back between 40 - 50m but she just blasted the field.
Denise Lewis did a break down of her other events though, and her long jump and javelins are average to say it nicely. So she needs to be laying down PB's in her racing events and high jump. Great start!
