The Oldies Thread

Oh nasty. I remember my son finding a bottle of Calpol in my handbag, the top was off and some was round his mouth. I couldn't be sure how much he might have taken so had to take him to A&E and they pumped his stomach, not nice to see , glad he can't remember it
My son did the same and we took him to hospital. Because he wasn't very dozy they said there was nothing they could do but to keep an eye on him at home.
Next day (Christmas Eve) his elder brother accidentally shut the little fella's fingers in the door. They looked literally flat. Took him back to hospital. Yep, they gave him some calpol. ( After about 2 hours his fingers had returned to normal shape).
 
Had one from NME or Melody Maker,can't remember which which just stuck at the beginning.Celebrating the lives of G'ting,G'ting,G'ting Guitar Artists. Can still hear it now.
Remember me and my cousin singing a Beatles song in one of those record making booths on a seaside holiday, It recorded onto a floppy plastic record, must have been around 1964.
 
….tea leaves. To this day I always leave a bit of tea in the bottom of my cup, throw back to when a few leaves had inevitably got through the strainer.

Same here. Can remember my Nan making me a cup of tea as a young girl and swigging it back and getting a mouthful of tea leaves. Took me about 20 years before I would have another cup
