Depends on year, and condition. That's 1940 and fairly good so might get £1 or a little bit more (if I am lucky).

I sometimes make these, very easy : icing sugar, peppermint essence and melted chocolate. Also made violet ones which are delicious. All much cheaper than shop bought, and you can make them satisfyingly large.
They were quite slippery when you picked them out of the urinal tooThose pineapple chunks were lethal if you swallowed one.

They went to 50% silver after WW1
and ceased to be silver after WW2 (1948?)

I just had to look up what day I was born as had no idea. It was a Saturday, and being as I now have 15 jobs I suppose I do "work hard for a living"

Indeed - I was born on a Thursday (General Election too!) and have travelled the globe in my adult life for work and now 3,000 miles from home. My eldest also born on a thursday left college, went to work in Cork and now moved to Seattle. there seems to be something to this.....…given my impeccable first touch of a football and my movement it’s unsurprising that I was born on a Tuesday

I was born on a Friday.
Same, appeared at 12.10am on a saturday. Must admit always considered myself a hard worker in my employment a little less so at home as I often find other things to do, especially when some DIY is required.
