I will never forget the first time I had a brew with that in it.
Fussell's, two teaspoonfuls of the stuff served to me by the donkey greaser on my first watch in the engine room. So sweet, but I soon got used to it.

We read a lot about elderly people should downsize and release larger houses for families. We have just done it. 4/5 bedroom house to 2 bed apartment. Haven't got the final figures yet but the cost of the downsize looks to be just north of £60k. The people who decide these things (mostly very well off people) have no understanding of the real world.

Not sago but I did love semolina pudding at school. It always came with rosehip syrup for some reason so you could make pretty pink swirls in it.

So many people get handed a living with the technicalities of moving house, be it governments with stamp duty, solicitors and especially estate agents doing rote work - very handsome money for old rope.

I wonder if these parasites exist to the same extent in other countries or are we uniquely preyed upon.

Speaking from experience the same brand of snakes exist in NZ and Australia
