Don't suppose many on here remember Liverpool Chads? Me and my brother used to go and watch regularly.

Remember the Stanley Stadium. Once went and watched an athletic meeting there. The only thing I remember was a well known West Indies runner named Arthur Wint won the 440 yards. I have posted this before somewhere but I used to ride cycle speedway for Prestbury Chads. Our captain was Peter Craven whose older brother (Brian) rode for Liverpool Chads. Peter went on to be world champion at proper speedway.Yep Stanley Stadium, like the long defunct Liverpool RL, which went to Huyton briefly, then folded

The pies have come. Put plenty of pepper on because they came on their own.Colin played out in reality of what a workingman's night club compare was like in that era - the guy in mind was unbelievable .....funny without realising it ..... lol
This group you've seen to on the radio, on the TV, give them a great reception all the way from Huyton, a pause as the compare ruffles papers - crap I've forgotten their name lolThe pies have come. Put plenty of pepper on because they came on their own.

Lol.I've got tickets to go and see Whitesnake next May. Wondering how the big hair and spandex will look now they are all of pensionable age...(fans included!) Supported by Foreigner and Europe (no idea what they will sing once they've done The Final Countdown)
