The Oldies Thread

They grow like weeds no problems, if you ever plant it in your garden keep it in a large pot permanently, or they spread everywhere.....
They root easy from stem cuttings next Spring on the windowsill not on full sun place a clear bin bag over the pot with a cane to support the bag off the leaves ....
I have a lovely Chocolate mint they have a big Genus plus varieties easy to grow plus usable in teas etc -
Enjoy your retirement, plus look after you wife ;)

Plant names families come under the same group Genus with different species but belong to the same plant families - I read a text to Botany by David Belllemy when I was 16 years old ........
Excelled in that subject getting a distinction in that subject four years later in my City & Gulids stage two also getting a high pass in O Level when I was aged 17 finished the exam paper in 45 minutes .......

David Bellamy ranked highly in my opinion. He would never have said that himself, of course...................ahem.
Sadly died just lately his career ruined on TV because he was a climate change denier, his opinion of course, but I have heard retired weathermen come up with the same reasoning that he had that weather comes in seasonal waves .... I believe ever since humans took charge of the planet - they do have something to do with our climate plus it does have seasonal waves - ask the dinosaurs......
When I was in my final year at school studying Environmental studies I was taught the future would be an ice age......
It's a subjective subject...... David Bellamy was a top Botanist.....IMO
