The Oldies Thread

Like many in this thread I don't feel (or act) my age. I turn 66 in August (I genuinely don't know where the years went.)
The reality was brought home to me this morning when my bus pass arrived in the post.
I was lucky enough to retire from work aged 57 and I genuinely feel healthier and fitter now than I did then.

From next week I get my OAP.
It's just dawned on me that I really am getting old :eek:

66 is the new 50 mate, keep taking those multivitamins and minerals.

I'm 66 too and I know how you feel. It's not a nice feeling. It's like suddenly you have to adopt and live up to a new persona that you didn't want or conceive.
I'm nearly 67 and fit like you, exercising every day and listening to new music, reading new books etc. Don't allow yourself to slip into oldie ways, however tempting it may be!
