I can even just about remember this:Any space show where they walk about in pyjamas gets my vote.. Catchy tune too. I've forgotten it already.

In King St, Wallasey in the 60s they had a Joke shop. A whole shop that just sold joke things. I think it was called Kardomahs?
You could get whoopee cushions ,fake cigarettes that glowed red if you drew on them , fake dog poo, a bird thing that dipped into a glass of water forever and hundreds of other daft things. Itching poweder, sneezing powder, stink bombs.
A wonderous place.
A shop that only sold jokes and it was open for years, perhaps sustained by all the local kids Saturday job money.....
Anybody ever call it teem ? Calling @Methuselah.

Lived in Liverpool, Leeds, Lincolnshire, Berkshire, never heard of 'teem'. Pour is what I would use.
Yes it was on Moorfields before the underground station was built to replace Exchange station. We had a shop called 'The Wizards Den' selling all this stuff as well.
I seem to remember it was up by Moorfields station somewhere.
I can even just about remember this:
Tex Tucker was in it.I remember it well Gerry Anderson....
Yep those puppet strings were ace a revolution in its day ......Tex Tucker was in it.
Deb is looking a bit Red, White and Blue these days.Just for the older members....

Remember FIVE Park Drive...not an addressWhen actually paying... 10 Regal Kings.. a box of matches.. and a packet of chewy's to hide the smell from yer ma.. all for a pound.. really.. a pound..
Even buying a 'loosie' from the local Pakistan owned shop ! ( political correct that.. )
I used to love that place, was always fascinated with the Tarot cards and the Frankenstein masks. My mum used to hate the place because I used to buy those mini bangers that would fit in the end of a ciggie. We had a shop called 'The Wizards Den' selling all this stuff as well.

Does anyone remember Rubovia? Or am I going mad?
And it seems he's keen to turn us back into a Rubovia-style state!I remember that! Think the the gardener was called Wetherspoon, that was before he went on to open a chain of pubs!
