No, will shatter their confidence, we will play like [Poor language removed], we will still lose, and we will make our "better" players unhappy.

Although, right now we could do with a wonderkid.

Not all of them starting at once, obviously. IMO, the pressure would be off as there's little expectation and so the experience would be a good thing. They are on the bench afterall. I think that means the manager sees then as professionals.

Davek, been saying this for years. Last year folk were saying Rodwell isn't ready, but he clearly is. For the odd astray pass his confidence and leadership qualities are already there to see.

Jose also has great confidence, but not going to see it on the bench. What is Jo doing that Baxter can't do?

Bold statement mate, not many will like it I suppose.

An impression of a Meerkat standing on the edge of the box????

Baxter and Aggard should be right in the mix at the moment.
It despairs me that Moyes still does the same thing and gets the same result.

Well Moyes will never ever take a risk. Apart from playing a full strength team against Spurs. But other than that he just plays the percentages.

Fails to see when things are not working, and then always back the players - even when he criticising them he isn't really.

We need to get Bilyaletdinov and Pienaar on the pitch for an extended period, if we do that then we'll compete. Up to now they've started one game together, tells you all you need to know really.

Anichebe was very effective down the right hand side for us last season, we could do with him now. Agard is closer to Andy Johnson than he is to Victor, in terms of style.

More than anything we need to get Arteta back, he's our most important player. He changes the way we play.

This bright side thread's OP thoroughly depressed me. Thanks for reminding me of all the players out mate

Do I need to remind anyone? I would have thought we all know who is out and when they are back.

I was trying to put a positive spin on things.

Neville and Pienaar back is going to be a massive boost, and with the Yak close to full match fitness it's going to be like last season apart from no Jags and Arteta, but Distin for me is quality, Lescott never really liked him on the left.

It's not all that bad is it. When you break it down.

Key players are coming back, and with those key players we did well last year. Plus we have 2 maybe 3 new quality players in Heitinga, Neill and Rodwell + Billy is starting to show some, not settling in as quick as I would like, but there is potential there.

damn right its time to fight!!

its time to show passion, grit and determination like so many other premier league clubs do....time to play for each other as a team....

are we the dogs or war or what??? COYB!!!

wheres Joe Royle when you need him...lolololololo

I refuse to listen to anybody that claims Arteta isnt our most important player.

BAN HIM FFS

Well we managed to get to a cup final without him.

Just saying like. He's not the most important player at the club. We have suffered more by losing Jags and Neville than we have Arteta.
