Current Affairs The next Tory (strong and stable) leader is Boris Johnson

He does not have a stutter, he stumbles over his words. They are very different things, the stumbling is one of two things: an affectation to create posho charm, or because he is constantly inventing things
It was all very weird really, one can be modest/humble about the level of attainment reached pursuing one's hobbies, but this wasn't that at all. One ought to be on a home-run discussing what one does in detail, both enthusing and describing, but that was also absent...

It wouldn’t matter what Boris did or what Boris said, would it, I mean really..........

Just heard two Exter Conservative members on the radio chatting what they expect from their new leader, one had to laugh at their absurd musts, build affordable housing, investment in public services, the older one of them had lost family and friends because medications were no longer available or not made available, he felt sure with appropriate investment in the NHS they would still been around and it will stop Corbyn being PM... ;)

So we have a choice. A man who wishes to observe the referendum vote and take us out of the EU or a male Theresa May who will do exactly the same as she did.......

Always thought that there was something strange about Peston ; I dislike intensely the Tory philosophy and it's commensurate actions and policies but for heaven's sake, you couldn't get something more irrelevant (and possibly hurtful) to the interviewee than this.

Do you care so little about people in this country that you would vote for anyone who would enact the exact Brexit you want despite the evidence showing them them to be racist, classist, anti-Liverpudlian?

Not really. There are powerful people and forces that wish us to remain in the EU based on political belief and self economics. These are those I refer to as the elite. Obviously Boris is in a similar class to these people and his ‘payment’ for his services is to become PM. It is a payment I am willing to make to deliver the vote of 17,400,000 fellow citizens....
There are also powerful people and forces who want UK out of the EU. To name a couple who are not part of the establishment we have Mr Trump and Mr Putin. Both of the countries they represent hope to gain big advantages from a Brexit. The 17+M who voted out should be asking why they have such powerful supporters. Do they really think it is in their or their country's interest.
