Current Affairs The next Tory (strong and stable) leader is Boris Johnson

There are also powerful people and forces who want UK out of the EU. To name a couple who are not part of the establishment we have Mr Trump and Mr Putin. Both of the countries they represent hope to gain big advantages from a Brexit. The 17+M who voted out should be asking why they have such powerful supporters. Do they really think it is in their or their country's interest.

But we do understand. Trump wants to deal with the individual countries and not an EU bloc, and Russia would like to see the U.K. distance itself from the EU and weaken it. The eyes of both are on weakening the EU. In the same way that the EU wants the U.K. to fail due to leaving, the USA wants the U.K. to succeed. Russia would no doubt want the U.K. and the EU to weaken....

Imagine being a member of a group that thinks these two are the best solution.

Tories keep harping on about Abbott when they’ve had a front bench of Grayling, Johnson, Williamson, Gove and Leadsom in recent times to name just a few incompetent ministers. Not to mention Cameron and May. Christ almighty. They’ve gotten away with murder. ‘But Abbott though, gin on a train’ etc etc

I don’t give a damn about gin on a train, she is an imbecile.......

I’m not a huge fan but just look at the state of your boys. How’s Grayling still got a job?! I remember labour Transport secretary Byers, rightly being forced to resign in 2002(?) for far less.
The standards and responsibilities with which MPs are supposed to be held accountable has plummeted.

The thing is though, Abbott is genuinely bad enough to be the counterargument, even to the likes of Grayling.

It's easily solved by Corbyn simply not giving her roles that are obviously above and beyond her ability, because all it does to swing voters is reaffirm the incompetence of the leadership and the party overall.

Thornberry is almost as bad but not quite as obviously so. You can get away with that sort of incompetence - but not Abbott's.

No, nothing to do with 'gin on a train'. Just a reminder.....

Can you give an example of greater Tory incompetence? Remember, this is the Shadow Home Secretary.
