He wasn't 'incoherent' in any way whatsoever. You can understand every word that Boris says. Yes, he has a bit of a stutter, and he is of course a bit eccentric. But to criticise him for this interview is extremely petty.

I honestly thought is was some old clip that HIGNFY would use until it was obvious it was from today/recently. I thought he looked and sounded half cut. And the way he described his model buses was in a similar vein.

It's all an act. Note how he relaxed when he could bluster about electric buses in London.

He could have just said 'I make airfix kits' and then talked about buses. The only excuse I will allow is if the thing that immediately sprang to mind was something that he couldn't possibly admit to and with each second that passed this sort of image was flashing up distracting him:

You get a sense with a lot of Brexiters that they're like Tony Greig claiming he'd have the West Indians grovelling at his feet. The delusional entitlement is quite something.

Tony Grieg could play cricket though. A better analogy would be like saying Rod Hull and Emu claiming that they'd have the West Indians grovelling at his feet.

Anyway, as you say, if he is to be criticised, then opponents should be doing better than this.
