Rory Stewart an unknown and remainer not a chance membership will vote for him

Sajid Javid seems the only one outside the favourites whos a brexiteers and hasnt taken much damage, happy to have a bet at 25/1

....personally wish the Labour Party had the process in place whereby the MPs select two candidates for election by the members. Corbyn would never have had the chance to become leader, and the party would be in a much stronger position than they are now.

Saying that, it might not be enough to save us the catastrophe of the Tory’s electing Boris!!!

....everybody says the next Tory leader has to be a Brexiteer, so I had a few quid on Rory Stewart @ 25-1 a few weeks ago because he’s not a Brexiteer.

I know very little, but he seems a relatively normal human being from the little I've seen of him. Hard to imagine the Tory party getting behind him for that reason alone.

That's right; Jim Callaghan and Theresa May both became PM without a General Election win or a vote of confidence in the Commons.

Alec Douglas-Home, John Major and Gordon Brown spring to mind as well.

No one can unite that party. Europe has done it in yet again and will continue to do so whether they get Brexit or not.
