There was a quite amazing vox pop on the news yesterday, some fat scruff (in an unwashed red t-shirt) (mid to late 50's bloke) was interviewed somewhere south of Birmingham and was asked about johnson being a liar and a law breaker and would he like him back, his reply was 'yes' because he is a 'likeable character'.
Ignorance is bliss, the great unwashed don't care, they've got ant n dec to watch and horrific shooting video's to entertain them via their phones, and twitter facebook tiktok to update. 'Does it sound good?' (brexit) 'then yeah I'm all for it...'

Boris has been a damaging, dangerous, heinous character for longer than he ever was the floundering harmless likeable buffoon character. And never much likeable at that.

But what I don't get - what I'll never understand is why people who aren't clued up on such things as politics, hold such strong opinions and beliefs.

It's just hatred, isn't it? Hatred of difference and intolerance of others not the same.

This caller was so sure of himself...until he wasn't. But that caller won't be swayed, despite what he was told. He'll read an editorial piece in The Times that will back up his belief and thus his belief is true once more.
