Current Affairs The next Tory (strong and stable) leader is Boris Johnson

People need to stop voting Tory and vote Labour.

It really is that simple in my opinion. Only then will we start to see change.
Mate, I have always had aan interest in politics but I honestly couldn't name the current Labour leader in the UK.

The new Irish Labour leader is Ivana Bacik - name dropping but she was in my Law class at TCD (heading for Google)

Mate, we can agree to disagree, thankfully, and have intelligent non-aggressive banter. A pity to see others getting so nasty.

Ivana is a very bright experienced lawyer and politician. I am not a Labour supporter but I wish her well in her new position as leader.

This is the point of CA. We all have different opinions and views and the majority take it as it comes, hopefully with a bit of humour, but there are one or two who appear so rabid in their views that it ruins debate, either serious or humorous……

- btw she is replacing the most obnoxious Minister with which I ever dealt. They are now down under 5% - I can remember them being at 32% in 2010.

I am not party political although my grandfather was a founder of Fianna Fail and his brother was executed by the Free State in the Irish Civil War.

Like you Pete, my tendencies lean more to the right, although I think am getting more tolerant as I age.

I hate greed, but despise laziness and people with contempt for people who actually get off their ***** and show initiative.

Over here Mary Lou McDonald, a fellow TCD graduate, is now Sinn Fein leader, and with her reasoned arguments, her excellent performance in the Dail (Parliament) has brought them to be the biggest party in the polls - 33% with FF at 23% and Fine Gael at 22%. Again I do not agree with SF policies but this is some performer

Everytime I bring up a debatable point, you fail to respond to it, mainly because you have no answer. The abuse is what you deserve for your horrid idealisms at the end of the day.

Pete is ok. I disagree with his support of Brexit, Johnson, and the Tories, but it is Pete's right to have his own opinions, thank God. I would love to meet Pete and the more reasoned debaters on this thread for a few nice pints, and a bit of intelligent debate.

Remember we are Evertonians!!!

Being an Evertonian doesn't make you a sound person.
