Get your tongue out of Boris's arsehole will you.
Listen, mate, there's no point in getting all hot and bothered, abusive, and middle fingery (not to mention coarse) about a simple exchange of ideas and opinions. If it gets to the point where people are reluctant to say what they believe for fear of the vitriolic abuse they'll attract, then this site will be like a mini Russia, where only specific opinions are allowed, and any deviation therefrom will be severely punished.

I'm sorry if you were offended by my "correct for once" response to your "And I'm the idiot" post, but you presented me with such an open goal that I just couldn't resist it. I'd probably have said the same thing to that post no matter who'd said it, and regardless of their viewpoint. It's the same as when someone tells you they're going for a hearing test, it's Shirley compulsory to say, 'Ay???'? When your wife tells you about her mate complaining her husband never listens to her properly, you just have to stare blankly at her for a couple of seconds, and then say, "What?". No offence intended in any of these instances.

Let's all just have civilised debate, and not treat anyone who thinks differently as a mortal enemy, eh?

There is little point in having a civil debate with people who cannot or refuse to engage with facts and truths.

Or with people who claim to believe one, hold others to those standards then disregard them when applying them to their 'side'.

Not acknowledging those things is the antithesis of civil debate.

We've heard this morning on Radio Scotland the classic Tory obfuscator Edwina Currie claiming all this is trivial and a long time ago. Furthermore, Mr Putin would be delighted to see Britain "destabilised" by a PM resignation at this time.

It wouldn't make a hoot of difference to Ukraine whether Johnson is around or not.

In fact Mr Putin would be aggrieved if anything to see him go because he just might be replaced by someone with a trace of decency in his soul.

And it's not a long time ago. People who followed the rules while losing relatives and suffering agonies can well remember 2020.

You can see why the country is absolutely banjaxed when people are still excusing the dispicable actions of this PM and his government, and the absolutely disgusting way they have conned, lied and cheated to the British electorate - the very people they are supposed to serve with honour and respect. It’s no wonder they think they can get away with whatever they like.

How much is too much before people wake up to this chancer and his shower of crooks?

I feel absolutely furious and terrible atm, but Goodness knows how bad I would have felt had I not been able to see a loved one on their death bed or to attend a close family members funeral, as I followed the rules and did what I was told.

My heart goes out to those people.

Shame on Johnson and his government - they should all be locked up, never mind resign or be sacked.

Johnson killed no one, the Chinese COVID did that, and I did actually have that conversation with a Labour supporting mate. There aren’t too many of them mind…..

And you are a small minded tribal idiot….there, do you feel better now…..
You’re so far up Boris’ backside that you’re now quoting Donald Trump. Hahahahaha.

By defending a lying, racist, misogynistic, poor hating government and repeatedly sticking up for them no matter what, all you have done is confirm yourself as a ‘small minded tribal idiot’. You’re like a football fan defending his team “yeah but your team is rubbish!” every single time your ill informed views are challenged.

You’re an absolute joke of a human being, Pete. I pity you for being such a blinkered fool.

Thanks for your invaluable insights…

Talking with a keen Labour supporting mate tonight. He was absolutely scathing over Starmer going on about partygate and demanding Boris resigns over a glass of wine while Putin is killing thousands and Ukraine was so dependent upon support from Boris……
British support for Ukraine is not in the least dependent on Johnson.
