Current Affairs The next Tory (strong and stable) leader is Boris Johnson

Boris heavily implied he was though, which is parroted directly from literal fascists. It’s indefensible, as with most of Boris’s actions.

I can understand yourself being a conservative mate, and despite the fact it means that politically there are a lot of things we will never agree on I can respect that - but surely you can’t deny that Boris’s behaviour is completely disgraceful and he is becoming more and more like Donald Trump

he absolutely said he was:

Instead, this Leader of the Opposition, a former Director of Public Prosecutions—although he spent most of his time prosecuting journalists and failing to prosecute Jimmy Savile, as far as I can make out

pete is telling fibs again

Boris didn’t actually say that Starmer was personally involved, merely that he, as the head of the CPS organisation, failed to prosecute.…
CPS in “fails to prosecute” drama! It would be news if they did prosecute anyone, with or without Starmer at the helm.
Meanwhile here’s the deadly Boris & @peteblue combo with all the hindsight you can carry.

“The Prime Minister tells the truth” said Nadine Dorries. The prime minister who has having regular piss ups while my grandmother died alone of Covid during the first lock down because we couldn’t visit her in her care home, and was likely having a piss up while I was at her funeral and was unable to hug my grandfather, or Mum, or Aunt.

I don’t see how anyone could have the audacity to defend Johnson at all.

You know it’s got bad when you look back at May and Cameron and are genuinely thinking “maybe they weren’t actually that awful”
Trump made dubya look like a statesman, the worlds electorate has plumbed new lows and has allowed those of us watching on helplessly to yearn further days of war criminals. Its that crappy.

Having taken a lot of stick, not even Boris would have repeated it again today had he not been on firm ground…..
Well, after all, it’s just whataboutery. It doesn’t alter the fact that Boris is a huge fibber who many on his own side are completely embarrassed about.
You hang in there until Cressida tells you that Boris has not misled Parliament while the rest of the country takes in the consequences of him having done so.
I imagine the @peteblue household having one of those Alexa thingy’s only Pete’s is called “Cressida”.

“Cressida, what shall I think today?”

“Cressida, can I repeat unfounded slurs about Starmer today?” etc etc

Johnny Rotten 'outed' Saville on telly in 1978. Since then about 30 years Tory govt, 14 Labour. They all knew. They're all implicated. Johnson is just trying to weaponise it to take the heat off himself. Low blow, but I expected no less. It's working too, by the way.

They are an absolute disgrace.
